The 19th edition of the Code of Operative Criminal Procedure is being printed in the wake of numerous reforms that followed the Cartabia Reform of the criminal process. This edition is thus updated to Legislative Decree 19-3-2024, n. 31 (so-called Cartabia Corrective ), Law 9-8-2024, n. 114 (so-called Nordio Reform - abrogation of the crime of abuse of office and wiretapping), Law 28-6-2024, n. 90 (so-called Cybersecurity ), Legislative Decree 29-6-2024, n. 89 , converted into Law 8-8-2024 (so-called infrastructure decree ), and Legislative Decree 4-7-2024, n. 92, converted into Law 8-8-2024, n. 112 (so-called prison decree ).

As is customary for Operational Codes, this Code of Criminal Procedure also reports at the bottom of each article the most relevant and recent interpretative guidelines of the Court of Cassation and the Constitutional Court , as well as the orientations of the doctrine on the most controversial issues relating to the application of procedural criminal law.
