Operative Penal Code – OP3

The 20th edition of the Operative Penal Code is being printed in the wake of highly significant reforms such as Law 9-8-2024, n. 114 (the so-called Nordio Reform ), which abolished the crime of abuse of office and rewrote the crime of illicit influence peddling , and Law 28-6-2024, n. 90 , which intervened on computer crimes . The Code is also updated to Legislative Decree 4-7-2024, n. 92 , converted into Law 8-8-2024, n. 112 (the so-called Prison Decree ), which introduced the crime of misappropriation of money or movable property (so-called embezzlement by distraction ).

As is customary for Operational Codes, this Operational Penal Code also reports at the bottom of each article the most relevant and recent rulings of the Court of Cassation and the Constitutional Court , as well as the orientations of the doctrine on the most controversial issues relating to the application of criminal law.

The most relevant procedural institutions are then reported at the bottom of each crime.

The work is completed by a table of the terms of prescription of crimes from the code, ordered by crime family (e.g., crimes against the personality of the State, against the public administration, etc.), which has the purpose of immediately visualizing the times of the relative commencement.

The strong point of the Code remains the detailed analytical-alphabetical index , which facilitates the research of the normative data and the related interpretative, doctrinal and jurisprudential questions.
