The volume is part ofthe I Compendi d'Autore series , conceived and structured specifically for all those who are preparing fororal exams for university and for the qualification to practice lawor for thetests of the main public competitions. The work is the result of a happy combination between the characteristic aspects, on the one hand, of thetraditional manualistic treatment, of which it retains the structure and the essential notional approach, and, on the other, of the more moderntreatment“for compendium”, which takes on the capacity for synthesis and the schematic nature of the analysis of legal institutions with particular attention to practical aspects andconcrete consequences. At thesame time, care has been taken to avoid both the excessive theoretical and dogmatic burden of classical manuals and the extreme synthesis of the old compendium models, often the “enemy” of an easy and clear understanding of the issues discussed and almost always the cause of gaps in preparation. The result is a“third generation” model of texts for preparing for exams, inwhich the imperative is to possessall the necessary and sufficient knowledgeto brilliantly achieve the final objective.
To this end, the guidelines along which the series has developed have beenclarity in formandcompleteness in substance.
Also in the 2025 Editions, the Series is enriched by the inclusion of Analogies and Differences boxes, very useful in the preparation because they are aimed at highlighting the common elements and distinctions between similar Institutes. The technique used in the boxes makes it very easy to use , understand and memorize aspects that are sometimes not simple and, however, essential to the disciplines covered. Among the regulatory innovations, the2025 Edition of the Compendiumof European Union Law takes into account:
