The volume is part of the I Compendi d'Autore series, conceived and structured specifically for all those who are preparing for the tests of the main public competitions .

The work is the result of a happy combination of the characteristic aspects, on the one hand, of the traditional manualistic treatment , of which it retains the structure and the essential notional approach, and, on the other, of the more modern "compendium" treatment , of which it adopts the capacity for synthesis and the schematic nature in the analysis of the legal institutions with particular attention to the practical aspects and the concrete consequences.

At the same time, care has been taken to avoid both the excessive theoretical and dogmatic burden of classical manuals and the extreme synthesis of old compendium models, which is often the “enemy” of an easy and clear understanding of the issues discussed and almost always the cause of gaps in preparation.

The result is a “third generation” model of texts for exam preparation , in which the imperative is to possess all the necessary and sufficient knowledge to brilliantly achieve the final objective.

To this end, the guidelines along which the series has developed have been clarity in form and completeness in substance .

The Compendium of University Legislation, NelDiritto 2025 provides an accurate And organic reconstruction from the regulations relative to the university system . The Work is divided into four Parts:

• the first part , dedicated to the university system , reviews its sources and organization ;
• the second part focuses on the university community , from the teaching staff to the students;
• the third part examines the typical functions of universities (teaching, research, Third Mission, assistance);
• the fourth part , finally, offers a survey of the other activities of the Universities (administrative, contractual and accounting management).

The Compendium takes into account the most recent regulatory innovations, including the Ministerial Decree of 13 September 2024 , no. 1576 containing the Policy Act for 2025 , the General Policy Guidelines for University Programming 2024-2026 and the indicators for the periodic evaluation of results (Ministerial Decree of 10 June 2024 , no. 773) and the VQR 2020-2024 . The Volume also acknowledges the Bill of 7 August 2024 , no. 1240 on the valorisation and promotion of research, currently under examination. of the Chamber of Deputies.
