The volume is part of the I Compendi d'Autore series, conceived and structured specifically for all those who are preparing for the oral exam of the qualification exam for the legal profession or for the tests of the main public competitions. The work is the result of a happy combination of the characteristic aspects, on the one hand, of the traditional manualistic treatment, of which it retains the structure and the essential notional approach, and, on the other, of the more modern "compendium" treatment, of which it makes its own the ability to synthesize and the schematic nature in the analysis of legal institutions with particular attention to practical aspects and concrete consequences. At the same time, care has been taken to avoid both the excessive theoretical and dogmatic burden of classic manualistic, and the extreme synthesis of the old compendium models, often "enemy" of an easy and clear understanding of the issues discussed and almost always the cause of gaps in preparation. The result is a "third generation" model of texts for exam preparation, in which the imperative is to possess all the necessary and sufficient knowledge to brilliantly achieve the final objective. To this end, the guidelines along which the series has developed have been clarity in form and completeness in substance. The 2025 Edition of the Compendium of Legal Order and Ethics, divided into three parts (the first dedicated to the Legal Order, the second to Legal Ethics and the third to Disciplinary Procedure) has been profoundly revised and updated in its structure and content, with particular attention to the discipline of the rights and duties of the Lawyer and the disciplinary procedure. The Work takes into account the most important regulatory innovations, including: Single Regulation of the Lawyers' Social Security in force from 1 January 2025; CNF Reg. 21 June 2024, n. 1 - (Dissolution of the Lawyers' Order Councils); new State exam (Legislative Decree 10 May 2023, no. 51, converted into Law 3 July 2023, no. 87); reform of the trial office (Law 27 April 2022, no. 34). Numerous ideas are drawn from the most significant debate developed in the case law of legitimacy and the National Bar Council. The volume is enriched by a very useful regulatory appendix containing, in addition to the Single Regulation of the lawyers' social security, also the Code of Ethics updated to the new developments in the field of fair compensation. The Work is completed by a timely analytical Index.
