Civil Procedural Law Course

This twentieth edition of the manual takes into account the changes to the civil procedure that were introduced with legislative decrees no. 164/2024 and 216/2024 (so-called corrective measures to the Cartabia reform) two years after the entry into force of Legislative Decree 149/2022. The aim of the two new legislative decrees is to resolve the application difficulties and interpretative conflicts that arose in the initial implementation phase of the so-called Cartabia reform of the civil procedure, with particular reference to the ordinary cognition process, the simplified process, appeals, the forced execution process and the two procedures of mediation and assisted negotiation. At the same time, they have remedied some coordination defects of the provisions of the code of civil procedure and those on alternative dispute resolution procedures (mediation and assisted negotiation) with the innovations of the telematic civil procedure.
