The volume, now in its fifth edition, is dedicated to the examination of all aspects of what can be defined as sports law : that is, all the rules, from those of the state system to those issued by the bodies that make up the so-called sports system.
One part of the volume is dedicated, as is understandable, to the phenomenon of Sports Justice and its relations with state jurisdiction, in the other numerous chapters deal not only with all the subjects of the sports system and their activity but also with aspects and regulatory complexes concerning phenomena strictly connected with sport.
The most recent case law has been reported with particular attention to the contribution of the Constitutional Court; the positions taken by the Council of State, especially on the issue of the division of jurisdiction, are also adequately evaluated. On the other hand, in the time that has passed between the first edition and the current one, there have been many changes and innovations in many of the subjects covered. Furthermore, it was considered necessary to accentuate the completeness of the entire discussion, by inserting in the current edition extensive references to the particular rules that, under the strict profile of corporate law, take into account the characteristics of sports clubs.
