The Tourist Guide Manual , Theory and verification quiz , NLD Competitions , was designed and created to meet the specific needs of those who have to prepare to face the written and technical-practical tests of the new exam for obtaining the qualification of the qualification to practice the profession. The Manual is characterized by a complete , updated and, at the same time, schematic and fluid treatment of the following subjects:

• Geography;
• History ;
• Archaeology ;
• Tourism law , accessibility and inclusiveness of the tourist offer ;
• Discipline of cultural heritage and landscape.

The Volume is completed by a Part specifically designed for the preparation of the technical-practical test, divided into two Sections: the first containing a series of very useful operational indications for future tourist guides, the second with the simulation of three types of guided tour.

To allow the theoretical study to be accompanied by an immediate verification of the acquired ability to solve the corresponding tests , the Manual presents verification quizzes for each of the Chapters or Parts that make up the indicated subjects. The Volume takes into account the recent Decree of the Ministry of Tourism of 26 June 2024, n. 88 containing the new discipline of the profession of tourist guide.

The Manual allows access to an online extension , which can be consulted with a specific password , to stay updated on the subjects covered by the exam.
