The text deals with the civil, accounting and fiscal aspects of the balance sheet of Third Sector Entities, as well as the functions and responsibilities of their administrative and control bodies. The work starts from an in-depth analysis of Legislative Decree 117 of 3 July 2017, containing the “Third Sector Code”, updated with the latest interventions of Law 104/2024 and the clarifications of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies (Circular 9 August 2024, n. 6).
Among the main innovations we recall:
• The restyling of art. 13 of the CTS with reference to the dimensional limits of the ETS;
• Raising the size thresholds for the obligation to appoint supervisory bodies;
• The modification at the end of the filing of the budget to the RUNTS.
The third edition also sees the more accounting aspects covered by OIC 35 and the more operational aspects relating to the balance sheet in its three forms strengthened, with examples and practical cases: balance sheet drawn up on an accrual basis, cash-based financial statement and aggregate simplified financial statement; a new chapter has also been introduced in order to guide the reader in choosing and evaluating the most convenient legal form (ETS, APS, ODV, ...).
To complete the work, Facsimiles and Forms are provided, also available online in customizable format, useful for those who manage (Administrators) and control (Mayors and Auditors) the Institution.
