Administrative Law Manual

The fourth edition of the Manual deals in a comprehensive and in-depth manner with all the institutes of substantive administrative law (general and special) and procedural law. The text is about to be published more than two years after the last edition. There are, therefore, many new features. Among these, a first new feature consists in the greater integration between the substantive part and the procedural part, through the treatment in the substantive part not only of the forms of protection but also of the rules of division of jurisdiction. A second new feature is represented by the greater in-depth analysis of the part relating to administrative justice. Furthermore, following the reform of public contracts (legislative decree 31 March 2023, n. 36) and local public services (legislative decree 23 December 2022, n. 201), the relevant chapters have been entirely rewritten. The first volume contains the general part relating to administrative activity: sources, legal situations, organization, procedure, provision, public agreements, services and controls. The second volume contains the part relating to private law of public administration (obligations, contracts and responsibilities), the special part and administrative justice.
